its a 06 rtx and my last rtx i sent my fox shocks and rear mono shock to carver had them rebuild and revalved worked awesome but , i dont have time this year so what can i do to my rear shock?? For taking a xtra person on the sled with me?? Can i adjust the spring up any so it wont bottom out as much?? Any ideas or thoughts?/ Thanks!

Well.... you could put more preload on your spring by moving the clip up to the shortest setting. might make it pogo stick a little more but might help a bit with bottoming. easy to try if you have a spring compressor...

Checkout the Twisted Spring Kits from Hygear; they work.

Ok i thought it may have like a spring/ coilover setup where you use a spanner wrench and turn it to stiffen up the rear shock!!

no spanner wrench for adjustments . but you can compress the spring and move a clip to get more preload. pretty easy to do..

1. Set to max preload

2. Set the transfer rod to eliminate all transfer, turn in so that no threads are showing.

3. Turn dial to two clicks back from full hard.

The transfer will minimize initial squating and the dial will slow the rebound down so decompression on rear shock is not harsh.

any detailed write up or pics in a thread explaining this a little better?? thanks alot!!
