yup, probably nothing more than a 30 cent resistor that you crimp on that fools the computer. I think it tricks the computer into thinking it's colder out so it runs richer.

If you read the FAQs it ounly say 1-7 HP gain to get the most you have to mod the sled.

As I understand it, this ebay doo-hickey basically fools the OEM computer into thinking the sled is colder than it really is by being inserted between the air temp sensor and the computer. The sleds compensates by running richer kind of like it is being chocked during start-up.
The Power Commander allows you to actually change the fuel curve, by +/- 100%. It's a very different item and really helps guys that have improved the amount of air they move through the engine (Exhaust/intake mods).
