I went out this last weekend and put on 70 miles off trail in Jackman. Unload on Bald mountain road or the clubhouse not in town and it is pretty good. Some places 15 inches of snow. Headed towards Pittston farms and it got down to about 6 inches but a real good icy base. But the snow is coming and Dave from Jackman Powersports says he will be out panning the snow with the groomer if this storm is decent. I have some pics on the camera phone but have to get them to a computer.

Its Dec. 15th for the trails around Rangeley, ME. I think its pretty much Dec. 15th state wide but it is up to the land owners if they want to open them up earlier. Some places have opened early. Best bet is to call ahead!

Trails after 15" of snow ?

Any one been over there in Jackman area since snow earlier this week. Pittston farms reports 20" on the ground as of Wed. Thinking of heading over there soon. I work in Millinocket and the groomer was starting to groom the park loop tonight. We have about 14" on the ground as of tonight.
Thanks, Blue

I rode 150 miles yesterday from Eustis to The Forks. Ate lunch at Northern Outdoors and headed back....trails were AWESOME! Lots of snow, freshly groomed....just outstanding for December. Didn't see a bare spot all day. :-o
