I just bought my wife an 09 ltx gt. I've never owned a vector before just apexs. What are some things I need to look for? It has studs and the rear heat exchanger looks like a cheese grader so I will need to replace that and put some hyfax on the tunnel protectors. Also has hids! I got a sweet deal on only has 2100 miles. Just need to sell her viper now. Any input would b appreciated!

09 Vector LTX GT
One thing I am adding after this winter is the yamaheater hand warmer unit. My daughter complained all the time about cold hands. Have the yamaheaters on all 4 of my Apexs, 2-06 Attaks and 2-09 LTX GT.
Simple to install, works great.

If you have owned Apex's, there is nothing unusual or totally different witht the Vector's as they're basically the same sled with just a slightly smaller motor.
You will however like doing the oil/filter changes now if you did your own on your Apex's?

My wife has a 08 vector ltx gt. I put an ice ripper xt on it, Excell wheel kit, and Dupont Vespel hyfaxs. Along with having the track a little more loose than they recommend. 1500 miles on this setup with no hyfax wear. Just changed the exhaust donuts at 4900 miles and now there is no rattle.

I'm liking the oil change being much easier, didn't think about the yamaheater bu I'm sure it could use it although it does have a mammoth windshield so that should help. I've heard great things about the vectors so I'm expecting good things
