Has anyone just changed needles without changing main jets?
A guy at Runnings Yamaha that works just winter time there, made a change to a guys I talked to without changing mains & he said it cleaned up bottom end & idle. Also got better mpg!
He had no idea what he did!
I tried calling Runnings but they said I'd have to wait & call back when snow flies, when he's there!

Raising the Needles (lowering the clip) will richen the very low end. Unless you experiencing a low end gurgle or backfiring when you shut the motor off, you really dont need to do it...BBY
