I got a UB9B battery dimensions as follows..

Weight 7.2lbs

Length 6 in.
width 3.5in.
Hight 4.19 in.

120 CCA Cost me $46.60 that includes shipping ups ground.. They are currently running a 15% discount on batteries Battery is $46.95 regular price!! It is made for a 2000 cbr 600 motorcycle..

Should fit perfect!!

Why do i want a new battery when i just installed the very small rage battery you might ask??

Because it got down to about 0 degrees and it barely started.. That battery is just too weak!!

This one should work great and only 1 lb heavier!!

How does the size compare with the Yuasa YTZ10 ? I tried to get our battery supplier to order me the Yuasa, he said he would have to charge me $200.00 frieght because they don't oreder cycle batteries till spring. I told him I would shop elsewhere next time.

I beilive it is exaclty the same as the Yussa battery .. Check it out for yourself.. ITS CHEAPER!! Almost half the price of the Yussa Ytz10S

I spend alot of time trying to find a cheap alternative to the yussa battery..

Lightweight battery

I just talked to John at Battery Warehouse in Great Falls and he said they were going to put in their order right after the first of the year. Ican get the YTZ 10S for $75.00 but it won't be in till the beginning of Feb.Ken

You're going to hate me for this, but when I got to work today, I called Napa, gave them the # and told them what bike it was for. He rustled through his book for a minute, then got back on the phone and says "I crossed it over to a Yuasa #, we have one in the warehouse in Spokane, it'll be here in 6 hours on the freight truck that comes over every day."
He said it'll cost me $35.00 and some change. I'll pick it up tomorrow.

ya know i did the same thing as you only i called Advanced auto parts and they too said they crossed it over to a battery and when i got it , it was Way too tall..

They made two different dimention batteries for the CBR!!

Hopefully you got the right on... But i doubt it... let me know if you did!!

I got a good test on the Yuassa/Interstate battery yesterday. I was climbing for the first time this year. I got off to one side of spot where someone had buried their sled and my sled tipped right over and fell in the hole. I could hear the gas running out and I couldn't lift the sled up until I did some shoveling. The sled was on its side for 5 minutes plus. I finally got it up and I though I sure as hell hope this battery is up to the job (because I was at the bottom of a canyon).
I cranked and cranked (with the throttle pegged) and you could hear the sled firing but it wouldn't run on its own. After several minutes (3-5) of cranking it could hold its own.
The starter speed never diminished what so ever. I was very impressed with the reserve capacity of the Yuassa battery. I wonder if I had a Power Sonic in there if I could have done the job? Merry Christmas. PB

OK, you were right WelterRacer. I went to Napa to get the battery....Same as you experienced, it was too tall. The fool ordered the wrong one. He reordered the shorter one. Should be here Sat

Told ya........

What was the price difference?

CCA

So, I was at that site and noticed a battery with a larger CCA

D5763 UB9-B 12V 120 6 3.5 4.19 $46.95
D5764 UB12-B 12V 180 6 3.5 5.13 $49.95

it is about 1 inch taller, is there any downfall of going to a little larger batter ? It still is smaller then stock.
