Although it is hard for a lot of us to admit the sledding season is coming to an end, it helps when that last ride is a memorable one.
This past weekend the temperature in Northern Ontario hit a tropical 23 degrees celsius ( mid 70's farenheit!).
Racked up many miles on Lake Of The Woods on Saturday but realized that the ice was pretty dicey in some spots where it was shallow & had current. Yes, it was definitely the last ride until next season!
It was however, a good feeling knowing that although the temperature was......summer like, the o'l Apex still managed to pull off 116 mph on the GPS, who says the pro-active skids are slow, hahaha? Didn't think that was to bad for a stock sled, lol!!
Have a great summer everyone!!!!!!
