Quick question...what is the best stuff to use to treat/waterproof the leather on the palm of the glove? I have a set of Klim gloves and the palms are leather. Also, do any of you guys spray down/waterproof your bibs or jackets? If so...with what?

Cant comment on the gloves but I am trying a product called NikWax to waterproof the bibs, jacket, gloves, and boots this year.
It is a 2 step process. first you wash it in their detergent free wash called NikWax Techwash. Supposedly regular detergent will actually leaves a residue that will attract dirt, which will, in turn attract water and moisture. Second step would be you leave the wet garments in the washer and run it through a cycle with Nikwax TX Direct wash-in. Stop the wash cycle 5 minutes in (while still filled with water) and let it soak for 30 minutes in the water w/ the Nikwax. Seems like a pretty good product with good reviews, so giving it a try this year. they also make prducts for leather, so might work for the gloves, as well.
In the past I just used a spray on product, but was never really thrilled with the performance.
Maybe someone who has used Nikwax products can comment on their performance.

Find some "mink oil"....its been used for years to soften and waterproof leather.
Although its called "oil", it really is more of a paste. You just rub it into the leather with a small cloth, and then let it dry over night. Works great!
