Anyone here have the lefty goldfinger throttle on their nytro? Worth it? Do you actually use it? How hard is installation?

You will probably get a 50/50 view on the lefty throttle. Some like some hate. I seen a guy pile his sled into the back of his garage last year. Thought he was grabbing the brake and grabbed the left throttle instead and away he went. I still don't see how he mistakenly grabbed the throttle when it was pointed straight down but some how he did. I had a new one come with a sled I bought a few years ago, no need for it here in the flatlands so I sold it. I gave it some serious thought but figured I get in enough trouble with one throttle , I didn't need 2 of them.

I really want to get one to use as a finger throttle on the right side. Personally hate thumb throttles =/

instead of buying that useless extra throttle and all associated cables that go with it, that heres what you can do, buy an aftermarket throttle block, use an OFT tether and ROV delete the kill switch and turn the throttle block to the opposite side as the conventional way. there is your finger throttle.I really want to get one to use as a finger throttle on the right side. Personally hate thumb throttles =/

That's what I've done (sort of) on all my sleds so far. But I just flip the thumb throttle over, don't make any other modifications. Only problem with that is the thumb throttle isn't really designed to be a finger throttle, so it's a little uncomfortable. Jetski throttles are made to be operated with 1 finger. On a sled it's like a huge paddle.
