What do you think? I talked to a perf shop who said it would be huge for a turbo application. He says motor will be significantly more responsive. Says he will take 2.5 lbs off the crank with no reduction in strength at all and if anything will increase reliability of motor due to reduced load on bearings. BS???? Will it hurt torque? Will it bog the motor on the hill when I hits bumps? Or is it a good idea?

I wouldn't. It isn't necessary. Save the Money. You can have plenty of power without it.
