As a starting point I set my limiter strap at the second from shortest position and transfer half way between Min and the mid point to Max. That is where I had my Attak so I thought I'd start there with the SE.
I ride trails and don't care much about drag racing. My preference is for better cornering and trail manners.
I'm wondering where other 2011 and newer Apex owners are set and why?

My 11 se came with limiter fully out and sled pushed quite a bit....I found that pulling up limiter two holes (center) along with 13mm bar and pilots with xfer rod in middle that the sled handing and cornering is exceptionally good....very little ski lift and very little push
