I have a 2007 RTX that im looking to change the track out from the ripsaw. Does anyone have any experience with a deeper lug track on a 121. Im thinking 1.50 or 1.75 i will be changing to extroverts as well so clearance shouldnt be an issue. The ripsaw is a great track for hardpack and trails but it lacks in the snow. Any good suggestions for a track? Ive had the 1.50 intense was a good track in the snow but seemed like a soft compound and folds over easy. thanks

I agree with lazy bastard, that's what alot of guya ar putting on for replacements

predator

I installed the predator on my 03 Rx-1 that was lenghthened to a 136. This track woke the machine up! Hold on cause it will pull way better! mine came fully clipped with all windows open. Honk

Yea i happen to like that track too i used to run them on my sx's only thing i dont happen to like about the predator/6-pitch is the little nubs on the paddle have a tendency of ripping off if you catch something under the snow. You guys think that is a better alternative then going with a taller lug? I was thinking about a DOO 440 track. :4STroke:

dont forget about rich motorsports.... he supports the site and has great deals on tracks... i have bought 3 from him over the past few years.

Well over the past week ive been trying to narrow down what track to replace my ripsaw with and i have come down to these choices.
1.1.25 Predator 6 pitch
2.1.5 freeride
3.1.375 arctic cat snocross track
4.1.25 ice ripper

Im going to run fully clipped because i want to run extroverts. I know how the predator performs and is a good track. I was really interested in the freeride until i found out it was a 14 inches wide. Does anyone know why they wouldnt make a 121/15 freeride? Also does anyone have any experience with the cat snowcross track? Tracks usa says it performs better then most 1.5" tracks

Dont buy the Ice ripper or u will be replacing it in about 3000 miles or under It comes apart ands comes apart bad JMO.And if u have tread the other post on tracks others have had the same problem.
