X2 on the Lake effect, I just installed one and it is top notch, looks like a factory Racing piece, money well spent...
Chris at Lake Effect is a great guy and a big time snowmobiler. I have his riser and highly recommend it.

I know they have some reason nice stuff but I already have two different riser set-ups.
The first set-up was with the stock riser and a set of renthal tall bars. It was the perfect hight but I did not like the look of the silver bars with my all black sled. Also I did not realize when I bought them aluminum bars will cause colder hands.
The second set-up I bought was 6 inch fly risers with fly carbon fiber bars. I just need to find a way to mount the 6 inch risers to the apex steering shaft.
Today I installed an 05 RX1 mtn throttle cable and re-routed the brake line. I just need to find a riser adapter and I'm set.

that will work, but you will have to drill out the threads of the steering post to put bolts in from the bottom, if you do that there is some gusset under the post that will need to be ground back some to clear bolt heads and maybe clean up some welds on the frame to clear, unless of course you can drill out the riser and bolt it down that way.

Dude, three of us told you 'Lake Effect'. Why do you post the question if you won't listen to the answer?

Dude
What does lake effect have to do with my question.
I wanted to know if that adapter would work with an Apex.
It does not work very well at all. That is the answer I was looking for.
Yes lake effect makes nice stuff but it does not answer my question Dude
