Any of the new seats on the Apex or Nitro will fit with minor fitting required. Search for posts, there were quite a few

I've seen a few seats for sale in the classifieds, if you don't want to pay for a new seat. The Apex seat will boost the height over your current one, and the Apex RTX, Apex Mountain and Nytro even more so.
You could also look into the aftermarket, with Boss and Mountain Mod being the main players, with different heights available.
Sitting higher really has helped my comfort level after a day of riding.

Apex Seat
Finally installed an Apex seat and what a world of difference.
Wish I had of done it at the beginning of the winter.
Riding position 6"-8" forward and much more comfortable, especially for tall riders.

wallison, just curious how the different seat changed the rider forward 6-8 inches. I would only think the height could be changeg

It made a big difference for me cause I have long legs (6'5").
Before, my knees were up high and I was riding from the back of the seat and below the bars. Now, my knees are bent at more or less 90 degrees and the seat brings you both up and closer to rider forward.
On the old I was low and back (ever hear of a dog humpin' a football!!). Plus, now that the centre of gravity is closer to the middle it is a much more natural action for leaning into the turn and steering is much easier, especially helpful with the longtrack.
Hope that explanation helps, the improvement may have been exaggerated in my case because it was so piss poor before.

The Apex and aftermarket seats also sit higher and further forward up the gas tank than the stock RX/RS sleds. Some cutting of the gas tank shroud is necessary to accomodate the seats. Search for posts here and you'll find lots of info on the subject.
Switching to a taller and more forward seat also creates issues with the handlebars being too low for comfort ie, hitting the legs or knees in sharp turns. A handlebar riser is then considered along with the seat mod and many risers now are adjustable which means you can move them more forward as well.
A 2 inch riser is about the highest you can go without modifying cables (throttle, brake,etc.). If you want to go higher, you can buy extension kits for the wires.
Taller handlebars then expose your hands more to the wind, and on cold days your hands will suffer. Then, you could go with handguards mounted to the bars to deflect wind away from your hands while you ride. You could consider a higher windshield as an alternative, however the bars can bang/rub against the windshield on sharp turns.
All these mods cost $$$ and it's a matter of how much you're willing to spend.

Good point - forgot to explain that there was approx. 3.5" removed from tank shroud that allowed the new seat to move ahead.
