i just picked up a rx1 and when its idling really low like around 1000 rpm ya can hear a bit of a noise behind the primary clutch , the owner told me that the rx1's were gear driven clutches from the crank so its teh gears im hearing, soon as ya rev it up to 1500 and beyond the noise is gone. Is this what it is?? Also on the secondary clutch should the whole clutch move in and out on the shaft a little bit?? like half inch?? thanks alot its a 03!

The clutch "rattle" is normal. They all do it.Most of us just bump the idle up a bit to take care of it.The secondary clutch is supposed to float. This is also normal although half an inch would be too much.

Ya I'll check it again today I got the sled super cheap needs a bit of maintenance done, donut gaskets and primary clutch has a crack in it the piece closes to the motor, but he gave ne another clutch and that piece is good so just have to get them changed and have new donut gaskets and a new belt !!
