3 weeks later momma gets her garage back. After reading so many post I had to get one. O its EZ, bolt right on. NOT!!! so here is how it went. Seat in hand, going to need that cool LED tail light like FAST EDDYS. so off I went. Picking up parts off a 08 attack, what do my eyes see, cool guy BARS W HOOKS & the RED, (matching my sled) attack exhaust covers. YEP more money. Back at home, The exhaust sounded cracked, might as well check it. YEP CRACKED!! at the crossing spot. $20 weld job. O whats this the gasket bands are lose. YEP, replaced 4 gaskets & bands after drilling out the screws on under the seat that hold the Y pipes. O I missed a step, Had to remove the suspension, WTF!! broke the cotterpin & will need a new axal. Apon inspection I will also need a 3rd new W arm. Been welded before. $150 new skid complete-used. Time to install the seat. LOL Hows it go?? cut once, twice, 4-5-6 now the tank cover fits. ya thats nice. Just did a solo 140 miles Unbelievable how much better it rides.

Sounds about right by, go to do one job and end up with a hundred more. My fly risers were supposed to fit right on a 03 yamaha, ya right! I had to cut the gas tank cowl, MAKE the pivot fit as the bolt holes never lined up right, had to carve out the blocks that attached to the handle bars because they met the bars right on the curved part, then they wouldn't grip the bars so I was 2 days before I finally got them to stick by grinding deep teeth into the bars and the block and packing the locktight right aboard the whole works. Too much work for the sake of 5 inches of rise in my handle bars.
