Well its together and ready for the first test run.
I picked up this 07 LTX 3 weeks ago with 490 miles on it. I could not leave it stock so I did a few things.
1. Heel Clicker II clutch kit
2. Speed sheaves on primary clutch
3. 06 seat with Skinz seat cover
4. Mud flap retainer strap
5. 06 Apex bars for more handwarmer heat with hand guards
6. Hauck Fuel Accelerator mounted on Rox Pad on handle bars
7. Rox 4" to 5.5" pivoting riser on Rox mounting block set ontop of 2"
stock Yamaha block
8. Hauck Gyt-R-Dun air filter kit and cut out lid of stock box and
mounted to retain stock appearance
9. C & A pro skis
10. Painted front vent grilles yellow
11. Added the Yama-dog Logo
12. Changed all skid wheels to yellow
13. Power Madd Mountain Strap
14. Apex Mountain throttle cable
I still have more I want to try on this sled but I want to get a good day of testing before I start playing with the gearing and changing skis. I still have the 05 Rx for trail blasting, I am setting this up so I can play more with the guys I ride with. They like to hit the logging roads and we are planning 2 trips to Yellowstone area.
If I like the sled and the set up I may try a set of 144" tip up rails like the Nytro XTX has and see if its better in the deep and still trailable.

Where do you plan on getting these 144" tipped rails? I am very interested in something like this.
I know you can buy the rails for the XTX from Yamaha but I have a friend back east with a machine shop that I talked to about milling a set out of solid stock on his CNC. I will post if I decide to go that route.
