M-10 jack question

Hey , I just got a M-10 with the jack on it from a guy who didn't know alot about it. He told me that it was 98 with 01 update,had the jack on it as well as m-valve shocks.

I don't know alot about the m-10 myself accept everybody keeps telling me to get one for my RX-1. I've tried to read about them as much as possible to figure out what options are best and can't saeem to find much about the ACE option.

Anyway the question, When it came in the mail the jack has a two wire lead coming out of the back of it, what is this for???

The wires coming out the back are for the potentiometer. What is on the right hand side of the assy?
