I had the medium sized clear one in my Rx1, and just traced the pattern i wanted on to it with a sharpie. I then removed it from the sled and pulled off the black trim on the edge. You may need a blow dryer to heat up the glue on it to loosen it. I then cut along the line i traced with a cut off wheel and then hand sanded the edge with 120grit sandpaper to clean it up. I then scuffed the INSIDE of the windshield and wiped it clean with adhesive remover. I then just did about 6 very light coats of black spray paint on the inside until i couldn't see anymore light through it. After it dried, I put the original black trim back on..... Saved me 70 bucks! and only took me about 45 min. of actual time. FOR METALLIC COLORS, DO NOT SCUFF IT! The scratches will show. Just keep spray VERY light coats to allow adhesion without fisheyes. Enjoy!
