Hey all, Im leaving tomorrow morning for Manitoba on a fishing trip to Knee Lake. We will be staying Wed night in Winnepeg if anyone wants to hook up for a cocktail 
. We are flying out of Winnepeg Thurs morning early so it would have to be a early night. We are staying at the Four Points Shereton International. We will arrive at 1:00 PM Wednesday (tomorrow). Would like to meet some of my Canadian freinds face to face. Take care..ooohh also, any hot Northern setups besides the standards, 5 of Diamonds, Little Cleos, Buck Tails...etc?

HEY Blue B.Y., Your going to have a blast!. Northerns that run in the high 40" class and bigger & lots of walleys. I used to guide up that way years ago.

I just got back from a sales trip in that area. The season is late right now. The big Northerns are in the shallow weedy bays & real hungry. Use a 6-8" perch coloured plug & remeber to pinch the barbs cus Manitoba is totally barbless. Walleyes are just starting to spawn in the rivers & are 2 weeks behind. Lakers are in about 20-30' water.Use a 1 oz jig tipped with a chunk of sucker belly!!!!
