I have been looking at doing some upgrades to lessen the hyfax wear as I have to run alot of roads to get to the trails. Was wondering what setup would be better, the Pioneer Performance wheel spacer kit or the yamaha Marginal snow kit. Also what would the benifit of adding a small wheel kit to either of these 2 setups do?

can i ask what sled we are talking about?

i have the yamaha one on my war and it did help but what helped the most was sucking up the front limiter straps 1/2" from stock settings. going onto my 3nd season with a cheap set of kimpex plastic. brother has a set of yamaha wheels on his viper as well and we have found that the bearings need to be changed every season in them. pioneers look to be aluminum so they might be better as they wick the heat away from the bearings.

wheel spacers

I ran the Pioneer wheel spacers last year with good results on an 03 RX. (pro action ) I may be interested in selling them as I am swapping to a monoshock . ;)!

what would you guys say if i have a HOLZ rear end on my 159 rx1 turbo? should i do extra wheels or what?

i would say put the cheaper of the 2 kits on and suck up the front limiters 1/4". then try it. if the snow sticks/stays on the rails you have it set perfectly. that was the sign that mune was set right.
