It sure seems like Yamaha would come up with replacement bushings to end that issue. I just grabbed the transfer rod on mine yesterday & you can move it sideways 1/4" on both ends. I assume it moves fore & aft while driving it. Seems kinda cheap for an expensive sled. Tim

I put 0-rings in my transfer rod a month into last season, took away almost all of the clunking.
