Ok, I tried the search but don't have a lot of luck with it.
I have a 05 RX1, first Yamaha in 18 yeas (79 SRX) . I have air box mod and clutching, and studded down the middle. The sled seems to run hard but not happy with transfer. Sled spins hard out of the hole. Same conditions ridding a 01 XC 600 edge with wasted studs and it hooks harder then my sled. Can some one tell me where the transfer rod is and how to adjust it.
Thanks Bruce

The transfer rod looks like a shock without a spring on it bottom rear center of skid, loosen jam nut and thread out adjuster, Watch out though it goes from no transfer to skis in the air real quick.

Before anyone complains, yes I know the picture is from a GT. The transfer rod is to the right of the black block and is connected to the 4 metal pipes sticking down. It is the long pole. You can just make out the nut that spins to adjust the transfer.

I adjusted it today. It was easy after the lock nut was broke loose. Transfers much better but not as good as my Polaris.
Next question is, out of the hole it leans hard to the right. Like the suspension is colapsing on the right side. Weird!
Any ideas?
Yes it is screw it out, not in.
Thanks for the help.

What are your limiter straps set at? It might help if you loosen it up one hole. Put more track on the ground.

Be aware guys, on my brothers 06 Apex he adjusted the transfer but didnt secure the jam nut with the spanner wrench and it adjusted itself apart and got bent. over $300.00 bucks to replace

Right side sag
Had the sled in the air tonight chanaging the oil. Looked at the susp again for why it tip to the right on a hole shot. I feel pretty stupid, the rear suspension right side top mnt bolt is missing. Not sure when it fell out but must of been just recently. I don't remember the sled doing this when riding in grass a month ago. Need to get new bolt tomorrow and install.
Thanks for looking.
