A group of us from ontario are looking into a trip to quebec around the holidays. Is there any other regions that get early snow closer? its our first trip and have no idea where to go or stay.

maybe up near saint micheal des saints....but for sure you go to mont valin..I dont expect to ride anywhere around here till chirstmas...and the snow is usually thin....the trails from my expiriance are not ready around montreal ...like the laurentiens or eastern townships till january...depends on the snow...but valin is a for sure..

the club will be gromming startting this week...there is snow for the roads and trails...but not enough for offtrail...just got back from buying a house in gaspie. ..there was 4 feet at 2000 feet.. ..just 6 inches at sealevel....
I rode a couple of hundreds at the Mont-valin yesterday. Yes... groomers at work. Top class on week days, avoid week-ends.
