motobatt

look like typical lead acid batts to me. The web page sucks. They don't tell you how they're constructed. Also I tried looking up some applications and it's all screwed up. My wife's running a Anti-gravity battery, she says she notices a difference in the front end (lighter) because the battery only weighs 2.5 lbs.

Don't most batteries look the same anyways?

Website wasn't that hard to navigate, battery FAQ right there.

The "model" drop down section was the only thing different but #'s don't mean much, most can interchange.
Just cross reference it.
My bike has the same one as what came up, listed a ZZR.

Most do but not the Lithium Phosphate ones. They're less than half the size and 1/4 of the weight. It doesn't do any thing when I try to look one up for my Harley. Funny thing is I'm at this very moment charging a new batt for my bike. YIX30L-BS. What a hog 17 lbs. I wish I would have bought an AG Battery.....

It weighs 2.2 pounds more than typical 12 series AGM battery. We can hypothesize that they've almost packed a 14 series battery into a 12 series case.

Didn't think Harley's had batteries, I always see people pushing them. :tg:

I don't worry about weight, plenty of power to carry me around

I can provide first hand knowledge about MotoBatt from the point of view of a company that sells all kinds of batteries including MotoBatt, Adventure Power, Moto Classic, Braille, Odyseey...and get regular customer feedback.

The MotoBatt batteries tend to have up to 30% more CCA and/or AH compared to the OEM.

Even though they have a 2 year warranty there warranty rate is lower than other brands that have a one year or six month warranty.

The 4 post design comes in handy for adding accessories.

The price/value ratio is often the tipping point for buyers and they choose MotoBatt over some of the more expensive premium brands.

It is made in their own factory in China :( and is not outsourced.

The MBT12B4 is very popular with the 650 Vstar and FZ6

Any other questions regarding power sport batteries...? That's all we do and would be happy to share what we see on this side of the counter.
