The race is at the ski area at Mt. Shasta. Registration at 8am Saturday, racing starts at 10am.
Any of you Yamaha boys showing up to help defend our honor? I was hoping some of you guys with boost would show up too! It would be fun to watch.
The ski area is allowing RVs in the parking lot for the weekend. And the Best Western in Mt. Shasta City is providing discount accomodations I think.

Great weekend of racing. Weather was beautiful and snow conditions were great for this late in the year. Sounds like the event was a huge success with nearly 100 entries in the hillclimb and 50 entries in the hillcross.
Lots of riders from California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, and even somebody from Minnesota.
Thanks to the ski area for providing great facility and excellent hill conditions. Also great job to Kale and everyone from the local snomo club who busted butt to pull this thing off.
Third rider up the hillclimb lost it and the sled made a fairly spectacular ghost ride into the trees. Other than that no major carnage other than bumps bruises and minor bleeding. Saw some spectacular saves!
Highlights:
-Local gal, Michelle, who owns Fun Factory sled rentals absolutely ripped in the hillclimb all day and sent more than a few of the guys home with their tail between their legs.
-Up to 8 sleds at a time running up the narrow hillcross course for 1000 vertical feet...some wild racing.
-Watched Hammer take the super charged Apex for a solo run up the hill at the end of the day....Wow! Looked like a rocket going up the hill and I'd be surpised if he was even touching the snow for half that, and I'm not sure his skis ever touched! Thanks, Hammer, for giving us a peak at your setup, hope you had a great weekend (and nice line over G. Butte too BTW).

Nice pictures, and great video clip. That diagonal line all the way across picture (B), and right where your video starts is mine from one day after work last week.
I like to go up there to watch the sunset and do a little stress management.![Kewlpics :pics: :pics:](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/kewlpics.gif)
