Hello guys. Last year at the beginning of the year I bouhgt a Apex RTX. Then I went to West Yellowstone and it kinda changed my outlook on snowmobiling. I still love the trails and the speed but I also can't help but love that mountain sledding. The RTX doesn't work out there. I rented an Arctic CAt M7 for five days and paid like $1000. I think that;s crazy to do again, I'd rather spend that on a sled. As a beginner, what would be a good sled? Mountain Max, mountain viper? I don't have the spare cash or I think I'd get that new mountain phazer and turbo it. I also know a guy selling his mountain apex, but he wants like $6000 for it. What do you guys think I should do? Just don't have eneught money!!

i'd get a mountain max, thats what i been driving for 6 years now i extended the track to 151 and put pipes on it the triples sound wicked with pipes. i put about 15,000 miles on with 2 engine rebuilds it's great sled i think.... :yam:

I'd have to say the Mountain Max for sure. I've had both, a 2000 MM and a Mountain Viper I liked the MM way better and often wonder why I ever sold it. I guess I'm a sucker for new technoligy.

Get a 2000 or newer 700 M. They have the better approach angle in 00 & hotter ignition in 01.
