Do you mean rail mounted scratchers? These are Duraflex scratchers. Bought and installed on two sleds last season. So far so good. There's another brand of cable type scratchers that look great but I can't remember the name of them. Just saw them a couple of months ago.

I need to add something like this as the solid bar is wearing a groove in the rails.

I split open a 2" long 1/2 diameter piece of fuel line and zip tied it to my rail. The scratcher sits on top of it and can't dig into your rail. Works real well for spring scratchers.

Interesting! I guess I have a hard time believing that one couldn't find a place to mount a cable type scratcher. I'd bend one of those wire deals the first day I had them.

I agree. I have a pair of the spring wire ones sitting at home and have not installed because I would bend them the first ride out. LOL!
I'm working on some spring steel one's you can mount to the inside of the ski's I have a whole roll of the spring steel sitting by my desk . I just can't bring my self to drill holes in my ski's to try them out.
My goal was to mount them like these and when backing up they would flip around the other direction. This brand wants you to mount them under the ski's , not sure if i like that idea...

Send them to me Dan.......I'll try them out. Saw some dudes on mountain sleds at Krupps that had bolts on the backs of their skis.

I'll send you my demo's and you see what you think , I can send you Pc's of belting in different thickness's to use as shim's also.
Pm me the address. I have read some where that guy's take extra carbide studs and mount them to the back inside of there ski's and they seem to work good. I'm always concerned that I'll forget to take them off when loading them on a trailer and they will screw the lip up!

I use lynch pins at the rear of the skis. Purchased at TSC. They have multiple holes in them so I can just raise them up instead of having to take them out when loading. They work great and no issues backing up.
