Ok...let me start by saying that my dealer sells both Arctic Cat and Yamaha and has been critical of the ride and weight of the recent yamaha. Well..He told me the following today after riding the 05 Vector and RX1. WOW!! the Rx1 with the new mono-shock is awsome!! The sled handled the bumps with ease and the weight reduction was VERY noticable. He said..I need to change my order on the 05's cause the Vector and RX1 are a great riding sled and i'll sell a bunch more than 04, and the weight factor is a major improvement which allowed him to run harder on these 05's more than any in the past. He believes he'll sell a bunch more then last year. The vector is very light and really handled the trails very well...He thought that i would prefer the RX1 over the Vector because of the HP. He said the 120 3 banger is strong but noticably less hp on the Vector....OK..here's the ultimate quote.."put some hook bars and a little higher handle bar and i'll ride one all year". he's not concerned with the loss of track from the 136" Warrior as he thought he would be and thinks that the Warrior will have a revised rear suspension in 06..........Wow!!! Anyone want to buy my Warrior ????

Is your dealer Robert's in Saranac?

Also, what did they say about the Vector as far as power goes? Did it pull like a 600-700 2 stroke? Or not? I'm getting an '05 RX-1, just trying to decide what to buy the wife.... Vector, because the power is in about the right range, or RX-1 because of the new mono shock rear...

No...Old Forge. He said the Vector had some impressive power and would please most...............He also notice how well the front end on the Vector handled.
