Well I recently went to my dealer and got a 08 Ltx.
Simmon's Ski upgrade, 1.5 Ripsaw, Bender Mtn Exaust and Low(red)Chrome winshield. I also had the dealer remove the Stock Decals on the hood! Allupset teh Genis 4 stroke lettering.Hes not even done building her yet.
Im upgrading from a 1993 polaris Storm 750! a pretty good jump but i have drove rmk's swichback's &fusions& dragon's... I have drove polaris since I was 10 year old and I feal polaris has drifted and its time to make the change!!
Only thing im worryed about is this *engine braking* i hear about. I am a advid brake user! and there is a reson for it

Good choice allagash u will get use to the engine brake in a few hrs of riding and u will not need the brakes it only slows u down anyway
Try and put a few hrs of various throttle burst dont hold WOT for a long period of time. But run it hard and let it cool.Hope to see yaa up there this year I ride there alot

Click on the link below and follow the procedure and you will have a great running sled that doesn't burn oil.

- None, looking now!
DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT. Just don't hold the throttle long. Vary the rpms and don't overheat the engine. I've broken in all 3 of my 4 strokes this way and none burn oil and they run strong. ( 06 RTX, 06 Vector GT and 07 Attak gt. )
Actually, I broke my Attak in my drag racing it on lake Gogebic last season. ABSOLUTELY runs strong.

If you change the oil between 100 and 200 miles you will be fine, good to get the new shavings out early. Make sure to change the filter as well.
When breaking in, like most people have said, make sure not to keep your speed consistant for long periods of time. Keep on and off the gas, will help set the rings at least for the first 25 to 50 miles

you'll try to break it in right, but once you get in an open area ice or field it's all over, the flipper to the boards, you just can't help it the machine wants to go, nice choice good luck with it
