My season is done before it started

RHOAG,
I think it took about a week before my nerves started to come back. It took longer than that to feel normal. I was 38 when I had it done it changed my whole perspective on the chances I took on the sled, motorcycle or whatever else I did. I had never been ill a day in my life before that happened.
The only thing now is when its damp and rainy 40 deg. The muscles get tight in my shoulder down through my elbow. but I will take that over shooting pain and being unable to move my left arm.
When winter comes and you are outside make sure you keep your neck covered. The hardware in there if it gets cold will really bother you I learned that the hard way last year.
Yes they went through the front of my neck took a bit for those muscles to feel better.
I also found in the begining if I got stressed out at work it bothered my muscles in my neck.
Sounds like your in good health you should have no problem healing up for next season

Wow, I remember complimenting you on your R1 a while back. Seriously rhoag, take your time in your recovery. Sure, it will be a long road getting there, but healing well now will make the years to come much easier and much better. I had a really bad motorcycle accident last year myself and didn't make out so well ! It's amazing though, how we still have the drive and determination to get back on the track.... I wish you all the best in your recovery, and in the future, ride safe !

It's really hard for me to just sit around. It's been three days and I am bored stiff. The only thing that helped today was that on the Nascar channel (AKA speed channel) they had the AMA formula extreme and super stock races 1-6 on almost all day. I don't know if any of you that knows bikes noticed in my signature what bike I high sided. #480 of only 500 made, (YZFR1 LE) Limited edition R1. I really love the bike and it's fixed like new again. Gotta love having a slipper clutch coming down the hill at Road America into turn 5 at 160 MPh, indicated of course.... but still moving. Thanks for all the advise I think I better just except the fact that my life is changing. After 21 1/2 years in the navy my medical record was only 1/4 inch thick. So I have enjoyed good health for a long time.
Rob
