I put a jack under the lower control arms and jacked the sled up to install my 6in. woody dualies and i am surprised at what i found!!!
There is alot of slop in the upper control arm bushing... I only have 65 miles on the sled... i doubt they are wore out already!!
Being a alignment specialist , i know the importance of correct alignment of the front end of cars,, but on this sled that amount of play causes camber change and excessive toe movement!!What gives???
Is this normal on the rx-1s??? It just doesnt seem right!! I tried tightening the bolts but i dont think they should be any tighter as it would cause the delta box frame to BREAK!!

I just jacked mine up the same way tonight to dry fit the simmons skis and I did not notice any play in mine .
I was not looking for it but still nothing jumped out at me .

Are you talking about movement from front to back? If so, mine has it. I noticed it when I picked the sled up from the dealer. I can't say whether or not my 03 had that play. I pointed it out to the dealer and they didn't seem to think it was a problem.

Those bushing’s wear out FAST. I have only 2400 miles and mine are fairly sloppy….I agree with welterracer things have to stay aligned. I noticed mine were sloppy late last season and ordered all new…They are easily replaced…There is really no way to lubricate them….When I get mine (still have not) I will be welding on nuts and threading on grease nipples….JD

Both of my sled were loose at new and still are with no change at 4000 miles.

My 03 has play front to back and when I complained to the dealer they took me out on the show room floor, jacked 2 brand new ones up and they both had the same problem. But it doesn't seem to bother the handling even after 2300 miles 8)

You know you may have a good point...I never checked my front end for play (on a stand) until after 12 or 1500 miles. Maybe that’s just the way they are....Can anyone else with little miles verify this....!!!

To my knoledge there is no kit (complete)...all bushings are ordered seperatly....As for price I never even asked....I just figured the sled needed them and that was that....But now reading some of the posts under this topic, mabe I don't even need them at all....When I get the darned things I will let you know...JD

Not an issue. Not sure what the entire logic is, but my front works great, and when in the air, my front springs are loose as the preload is minimum, and that looks bad jacking it up, but means nothing riding. Years ago I tightened up (read 'made') new bushings on a ski doo, and then proceeded to break things. No real proof this is the issue, but went back to loose, and never broke again. PRS suspension...lots of bushings. Loose may be good in this case too.
