I was wondering what others were doing for spooling their turbos. We have been using a .026 dry shot activated from 5500 to 6200 rpm. It is working ok, but I think it could be much better. I'm leaning towards trying a n20/fuel fogger nozzle activated at say 7000 at WOT and less than 15# boost. At 15# the hobbs switch would open and disable the n20. Anyone doing anything similar
Thanks Tom

I just hit the button the same time I hit the throttle and hold on until the race is over, thats with a ice wet system, you could hook it up so that as soon as the throttle flipper hits full open the nos comes on, and then have a hopps switch shut it off at the desired boost. I think the wet system will work better than the dry for spooling up the turbo, I have the ice manifold in the charge tube between the turbo and innercooler and it seems to work good.

Thanks Guys. We are going back to the wet nozzle right away. Turns out that our n20 wasn't working at all. The n20 solenoid nut had come off the top of the coil allowing the coil to raise up high enough to make it's magnetic field useless. The nozzle is in plane sight but the sol is hidden behind some other stuff. Ooops. I was concerned about giving the shot to early (low RPM) but it works for you ;)! . How big is you n20 pill Snowy1? How much boost do you run with the n20 on. We have been using a .026" pill so far.
:nos
Thanks Tom

at faiview I was running 18 lbs boost with a .025 jet on the nos side, I have sense ran a .035 on the nos side, and I will be running .040 to .045 next year with hopefully about 25 lbs boost, I hold the throttle just befor engagement about 4500 rpm and then hit the throttle and the nos, I do hit the throttle a split second befor the nos just to be sure the throttle is wide open.

We leave off a delay box tied into the rev limiter on the MSD, and the throttle is wide open a couple of seconds before the rev limiter is released. I do have a second timer and output on the delay box that I may use, to ensure that the slides have time to lift fully.
Thanks Tom
