There is a big push for CNG in my industry. The biggest problem with CNG vehicles, is the lack of power density. The incredibly slow fill times for reasonably priced home fill stations is another. LNG is better for power density, but since it leaks off when the vehicle isn't being used, would be a horrible idea for a sled.
I am currently working on one that just runs on $50 dollar bills
