Need a bigger windshield!!

Went out this Saturday in -24c and almost froze soo bad I contemplated going back home halfway through the ride! For those people in the prairies, I grew up in Sask so I know what real winters are like! Much colder than -24!Lol.

Anyway, love the look of the small windshield on the Nytro so I haven't changed it out for more wind protection yet. All I've seen of the bigger windshields, I don't like the looks of. Anyone have or know of a little bit bigger than stock shield that still looks sporty?? Any pics would be very much appreciated!!

I have this medium in flat black. I comes in gloss black and a few other colors too. Could be warmer but its better than a shorty. I'd rather dress warmer than go any bigger lol

I choose comfort over looks anyday, I'm running the tall windshield. Actually, I draw the line there , the super duper extra large shield is just way too ugly.

This one works great had the middle height one from yamaha and the wind would hit me in the face this one puts it over you.

I would also put on the lower side deflectors, they make a huge difference on the legs….

I bought mine at a Yamaha dealership. Didn't realize it wasn't a Yamaha brand. These pics are from 2 years ago so i'm not sure if its still available. Here's a side shot for ya

It's that little curl at the top that puts the wind overtop and if you stick with a Yamaha brand windshield it will have to be the high. Medium doesn't quite do it. I like that sno stuff one. Wonder why they are not in any catalogues. I get sno stuff pullers and things like that from the places I deal with. Going to have to check into that. To be honest there is very little for aftermarket stuff for the nytro as to windshields and stuff like that. More options for the apex chassis, I even see aftermarket a-arms for the apex, rage, vector. Nothing for the Nytro.

if you haven't found aftermarket stuff for a nytro you haven't really looked anywhere haha. anything you can get for an apex its available for nytro.

Royal Distributing and Rec Supply don't show any windshields. Never bothered to ask either. There is aftermarket stuff for the nytro but nothing near as much for the other brands. But then I guess the other brands need a lot of support .

This set up works well for me. Yamaha windshield with side wind deflectors. Been out in -20 with no issues

My 11' has the stock windshield with the side deflectors. Was out a week ago in -15F and didn't have a problem. Was suprised how warm I was considering how cold the sled looks. Lol
