Does anyone know where I can order a set of keys for my Phazer Mountain Lite? All I have is the 4 digit number from the key that I wrote in the owners manual. Anchorage dealer only wants to sell me a new switch for way too much.

The guys over at Port Yamaha are always helpful and I have never heard anyone complain about their service. They are also a site sponsor.

You probably could go to a good locksmith and have him make the key for you. I did it for my bike, cost like $10.
Sucks that the Dealer can't/won't help.
I remember in my owners manual, there was a section near the front where you enter the digits of the key in case they get lost. Perhaps there is a contact number on the same page?

Been there with the keys, I believe Yamaha will only sell the whole ingnition lock. Your best bet is to post a wanted ad on this site and find a used lock and keys, or check with the guys parting sleds, most models use the same locks.

I wonder why Yami would put a section in the manual to write the number down if they won't do anything but replace it with a new system.

I walked in to my dealer last year with my code and told them I wanted to order two extra keys for my Apex. They placed the order and I had the keys 3 days later. If your dealer is telling you that you need to get a new switch, they are either trying to fleece you, or (more likely) unaware of the process.
This is all assuming nothing has changed from last year.
