It's my fathers 60th on Jan.10 so my uncle and I thought that we would customize my father's new Red Attak and surprise him as he won't see it until then.

Please feel free for offering suggestions(and suppliers) to customize it.

We don't want to do anything to the motor to compromise reliability(No Superchargers)

If we can take a bunch of weight out of it that would be great.

Everything must be availble within the next 4 weeks.

Our budgets about $7-8,000 CDN($6,000-$7,000 U.S.)

Our thoughts so far:

Change color to Black to Match his girlfriends GT(She's only 34 - Way to go Dad!)
Custom Decals (60th Anniversary Tour)
Polished Tunnel
Chromed 45" Wide Front End Kit(Anyone know who's making one available now or quite soon?)
Billet Big Wheels in rear and Maginal Snow Kit
Lightweight exhaust if it looks stock and not that loud(We live in Ontario)
Ohlins Electric in the Rear and Ohlins or Floats in the Front
Remote Start
Colour Moving Map GPS
Lightweight Battery
NEW Secondary Roller Clutch(Paragon?)

Any other suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

We need help in finding

Did he buy the sled and you will sneak it out and customize it? Just don't over do it, if he is like me, I like my sleds low key. And be sure he can change it back to the way he would like it. How about a gift certificate? I know its not much fun giving those, but he could get what he wants.

He already bought it. He won't see it before his Birthday as he will be away, as my uncle will have it stud. We know he likes the GT and had an '03 limited which he loved so were pretty sure were safe on colour. He is very easy going, but is one of those guys who has everything so it's hard to buy him something. He doesn't do any work on the sleds himself except for changing a belt if it blows.

He'll love it.

Find a reputable detail shop close by and have them polish the tunnel and the rails in the rear suspension. Maybe order a BOSS seat for it (won't be ready in your time frame though). Security system with remote start and a pager with display rather than the standard alarm keypad, that way he can glance at it to check the status. Co-worker has one in his Ford Expedition made by Viper. Color co-ordinated accesories(skid plate ski loops, grilles etc.

Won't be too many mods available until around Dec. So accesorizing it is abou all you got right now.

Here's a link to some pictures of my sled and a list of things done to it. http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=14281
