i bought a air filter kit kn filters with 170 jets i have mountain performance exhaust, and the springs that came with the kit are silver, im at sea level so should i have red ones?? thanks alot!!

I ran the silver ones with the filters at sea level and at elevation. For me it did not make any difference.

Yes it looks like the red ones are the ones you need for the filters and sea level.

on a totally stock 2008 vector, how noticable would these cv springs be? they claim to gain 1000 rpm, so would you need to add weight to the weights to bring it back down?

These are for carbs you are efi correct?

no 2008's are still carb, our 2010's are fi. i asked my dealer bout them last winter and he's had no experience with them
Well if you dont have a mountain sled and are stock I would leave it alone Yamaha I beleve sets these sleds for the 0 to 4000 feet from the factory.
