I have a 2005 Warrior and looking to replace skis,I currently have SLP powder pros and find them a bit harder to turn on packed trails.Any recommendations on a ski that would suit my needs for this sled as I am a aggressive trail rider .How are the new upgraded yamaha skis, anyone try them out.

Doo Pilots

x2 Alot of ski doo guys upgrade thier 5.7 pilot skis to wider powder skis so you can find a gently used set for a very resonable price. The dual carbides are the only way to go for packed trail riding IMO.

What about steering effort with dual carbides ,wouldnt it require more turning force. How about CA Pro Razors are they any good ??. Currently my machine has SLP powder pros and seem a bit to aggressive in trails and require more steering effort.

The Doo Pilots steer great. The second carbide only bites when you bank hard into a turn.

YAMAHA TUNERS SKIS ARE GREAT OPTION ;)! BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK AND THEY ARE YAMAHA ! Check out the reviews. Best upgrade for me.

I am on my second set of Simmons...first set still kicking but worn a bit with 10k miles. Excellent flotation and no darting.
