Ok here's the story. 4yrs ago starter stayed engaged and I didn't know it till it fried starter battery relay was end of season so put it away. Following year put used starter in and new relay. Had coolant leak had hose replaced at local yammy dealer they couldn't get it running but would run on carb cleaner. I drain my tank and float bowls and forgot to put gas in it. Found rear center idler bad took out shaft I fixed had $600 into all those repairs and bagged it for the yr. The next yr bought new battery tried to start yes I put gas in it. Wouldn't fire noticed gage cluster not lighting up at all. Found no power to my Headlight and Sig Fuse. I have power to my CW and Ign fuse. Tested ign. switch ok. Even tried a good used CDI module. no better. I found 3 relays behind right panel by reverse lever. Cant find them in my manual. What are these relays? Would Gage cluster also not allow it to start? Must have spark if it runs on carb cleaner although I haven't tried that yet. What else could I have burnt up? Snow got to deep last yr to get it out and take to dealer. I WANNA RIDE THIS YR!!!!!!!!
Jim the cluster doesn't do anything until the sled is running for a few seconds. All power goes to starting the sled. I would check for spark first, next fuel flow you can remove the fuel line from the fuel pump place the end in a container and see if you have fuel at the pump. If not check fuel line in the tank you can hook it with a piece of wire to bring it up through the filler neck to be sure it didn't fall apart. The gas these days really does a number on the fuel lines. If your fuel line is ok in the tank i would check the fuel pump next.
If it still starts on carb cleaner then its not getting fuel. Its probably dirty carbs. Needle valves stuck closed or blocked pilots.

How long are you cranking it for? I know that even after sitting for two months mine cranks forever unless I pressurize the fuel tank by blowing into the vent tube behind the secondary. Then the fuel gets to the carbs and it fires right up.

Ok I get the fuel issue I will ck. But does my sig and Headlight fuse only get power after it is started? I never had this problem when I rode 4 yrs ago so I don't really know. I have no power to each. Thanks for the imput. I did crank for some time just didn't want to burn up another starter. The yr before this happened I got some serious bad fuel like 1 1/2 gallon water to 9 gallons so I did pull filter and tank and drained bowls but ran fine following yr. I do use stable during storage.
Jim, if the sled started for your dealer on carb cleaner your problem is fuel. the gauge should not have power until the sled has been running for a few seconds. The control box doesn't send power it until the sled is running that is why when you turn on the key nothing in the cluster works. You could prime the cylinders with a little gas then try to start the sled , but , if it turns over i would say fuel. The carbs should be cleaned but all four of them would have to be clogged. Are you that unlucky lol. Last year i had a problem with my 04 warrior .I rode it on the weekend and tried to start it to put it back in the trailer and nothing. I thought the starter sleniod failed , i changed it and it started , until the next day nothing again. I was also having trouble with hand warmer display on the gauge it ended up being the wire harness in the nose of the sled . cleaned everything and good to go. Since you drained all of the gas from the tank it will take alot of cranking to get fuel to the carbs, as Yammy has mentioned. Where was the antifreeze leak ? No hoses pinched. Let us know how you make out. Elton

I had a similiar electric gremlin a few years ago. Replaced many parts with no luck, then I had a retired military electrician take a look, he ran a ground from the negative side of the starter relay to the chassis and "PRESTO" it has started ever since.
With the carb issues, I have only one thing to say

Elton, Yes I could be that unlucky. LOL! Thanks for the info. It was a small elbow hose under engine at water pump.
