Looking to stud the Nytro RTX this weekend with 144 studs up the centre using the woody's pattern. Is there anything I need to stay clear of like heat exchangers, etc. or is it just straight forward? On a couple of my past sleds I had to use specific patterns to avoid damage or install heat exchanger and tunnel protectors.

Giver Hell. Nothing to worry about unless you're going over a 1.325 length.

I have 144 1.25 up the middle. I know 1.325 is what most companys recommend for 1.25" tracks, but unless you're on ice alot (radar running) it's overkill IMO. 1.25 studs give 1/4" penetration, more than enough for trail use.

I just studded mine with 144 stud boys (doubles & singles) and it was fine as far as heat exchanger clearance goes.

The only issue I had was with the extra large nylon studboy backers & the 9818 - 6 pitch track. The backers wouldn't sit flush on the track on one specific pattern - they would rest against some of the paddles - had to change it up to get em to fit properly.

if its the stock ripsaw you should be fine.

Yeah, its the stock ripsaw track with 1.325's. So, I guess it should me fine. Thanks guys. Oh, and BB, thanks for all your help and advice, much appreciated.
