Can I install the new Apex bars on my 04 Warrior, and if I can what will be necessary as far as wiring, riser, etc.... is concerned?

By new I assume you mean the 07 bars? They and the 06's dont have as deep a bend to them so you will need a riser. I am looking at doing the same thing but now I'm looking for some Sno Pro cat bars.

I already did it and yes it works! They are wired differently than the RX-1 and the Apex. Looks like they put them in series instead of parallel. The good thing is that they kept the wire colors the same! All I did was keep the same colors from my OEM wires to the same color on the risers. I believe there is one yellow and one black. I did remove the pigtail from the new risers also.

Everyone else is also right about the height change. The stock bend and the new bar bend are much different. I went with a rox 5" riser and the bars are about 2" higher than stock. With the 3.5" riser you would be about exactly where they were stock. I also did the Apex set upgrade and you need the bars higher since the seat is so much taller.

Hope it helps. I would post pics of mine, but there are some bad feelings towards those of us who landed the new bars and the 06 riders who are still waiting.

I will post pics once I see that everyone has received their bars.

So if I wire the 06 bars the same as my 03 I'll get good heat?? The 06 bars have the connectors cut off so I will strait wire them?

Cut off the pigtail connectors from the new bars. Then wire them directly to the bars on the RX-1. The stock bars have a second connector that hooks them back to themselves which is not necessary. You are left with a lot of extra wiring to stuff back under the hood.

So Otis if I wire them wire to wire with my 03 warmers I will have good heat?

Don't know since I have not had it out yet. It was warm at idle on my track stand in a few seconds so I figure it will be, but I don't have any snow to confirm if it works.
