Hey Guys,
Just wanted to let everyone know about some new billet products we are offering, Billet Brake Reservoir Covers, and Billet Gas Caps for Yamaha.
We are not making these products in house, but we have had a lot of requests for them so we ordered some samples of all of these products and we were very impressed with the quality of them so we have decided added them to our website.
To add a personal touch to them we are offering all of these products in powder coated versions, this we are doing in house so all of the colors we currently have will be available, and I think the products look really good with the color/billet mixture.
Since we are now an AMP dealer we will probably add more of there products to our website, and also offer these with our powder coating option.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to send me a PM or email to info@tricked-toys.com, and visit our website www.tricked-toys.com for more information.
thanks
Brian

Still no decent LOCKING aftermarket fuel caps...?
Thats is the problem as I heard people steal them at lunch stops and I dont want to carry the plastic one and forget to swap it out. I know of a guy that threw a jacket away from gas and lost his billet cap. I would be on fire!

Not sure if they make them for that, you are best to go on the AMP website and see what they have....whatever they have I can get, and we can also powder coat them.
I will be placing another order with them in the next day or so.

It is really a shame that there are sledders out there who steal from other sledders. The gas cap theft issue is what kept me from buying the Yamaha billet gas cap.
Of course you could carry your stock plastic cap in your storage compartment and swap it out when you leave the sled parked but that is a real pain in the #*$&@. It also defeats the entire purpose of wanting your sled to look cool when it is parked!
I also thought about carrying the stock cap only as an emergency back-up if the billet one was stolen but my fear is that I might not notice the missing cap before I am covered in gas.
Obviously a locking billet cap is the ideal solution. However I was thinking about a tether of some sort. Perhaps a stainless wire attached to the cap in such a way that the cap could spin and the other end attached to the handlebar riser block for instance?
A well designed tether would not be theft proof but it may deter all but the most determined thieves.
