I have modified my muffler to dump under the tunnel and now would like to change out my seat preferably to a Boss seat. I looked online at dealers, but no one sells this type of seat anymore. Does anyone have any ideas for finding a new/used Boss seat for under tunnel exhaust dump? Does anyone out there have one to get rid of?

Also, I would like to eventually change out my suspension. I know these can be quite expensive. Thoughts on buying used?

this guy had a few seats for sale before christmas, dont know if he still has them, heres his number1-204-326-6101,in winnipeg i think.good luck

snopromod44 has a mountain mod for yhis appliation, just as good mayb better than boss

Im not 100% sure what type of seat your looking for? If your looking a seat that is closed off right to the tunnel like a older 2 stroke style seat, Mountian Mod is likley going to be your best bet. If your looking to replace your stock seat with a boss seat, local dealer has both in stock. The boss seat looks like the stock seat thou, black/silver (new). The mountain mod seat is used.

Is snopromod44 a member? Website? Sorry for my ignorance. Can you tell me more about this application?

I'm not set on the Boss seat. I just have seen it so I would like go for something like that. If there is a mod I can do for cheaper, that may be better. I have changed the muffler to dump under the tunnel, so whichever route I go I definitely want the seat to come down to the tunnel like older seats.

I bought a turbo mountain 03 with a mountain mod seat on it. The thing wieghs about 3 ounces I have no idea why Yammy can't lose weight like this. I have not gotten a chance to put much miles on it but it sits higher than stack and seems to have a good firm pad in it. It is higher and harder to throw your legs over if your short like me for weight transfer when playing though. It also is held on by about 12 snaps and can be removed in 10 seconds without having to tear half the rear of the sled apart or getting out the tool kit.

I rode in Yellowstone 2 yrs ago and my stock seat with a Skinz re-cover on it gained over 10 lbs of ice in over the week. It would have been nice to be able to pull the seat and take it in at night to thaw and dry out.

he is a member do a search for snopromod, no 44 must be another site

Too bad you weren't looking earlier, I had a used Mountain Mod that goes to the tunnel. Pm me, local dealer has it now, think he might sell it. Its in Alberta. It weights nothing, but its a bigger size, so it will be bulkly in shipping.

try any mountain site, all them guys change out the seat anker first. Many good buys. (Snow west)
