I have a rx with simmons ski's . I have never had a darting problem before (ever) and I have just replaced my carbides . (sorry scott bergsrom) but i had to buy them while I was out on the trail and went to royal . I got 2 6 inch and 2 4 inch . I put the 6 inchers on the inside (this was all that was left at royal so I had no other choices )
Today the trail was hard pack put somewhat frozen . I was all over the place . It got better as the day warmed up and the snow loosened up but at the end it got cold again and was all over . If I go on the read at all it is again all over .
I have a m 10 and a new ripsaw 1 1/4 no studs yet .
Anyway should I just shim this or ?
it is not always that it does it so I wonder if I want a permanent fix or just set the front shock on the rear skid stiffer .
Font springs (on ski's are loose)
Thanks for anyones help

add some ski spring preasure. it will make up some for the crappier carbides. maxdlx
just wondering, why are they crappy , they are better than stock simmons carbides and are they not digging in too much , wouldnt I increase spring pressure if I had less carbide and if it was pushing ?

I would shim and see what happens. I got bergstrom triple points on my simmons and I shimed them. I also got the 4" and 6" set up which was refered by scott. Works great. Shimming should fix your problem though.
