Hey guys, have a 2015 viper Ltx. (200miles) . Just a put the new OSP can on it and Ive now aquired 1,2 sometimes 3 studders when I 'pan on it' (full throttle) this wasn't happened with stock pipe obviously. ((Pipe is very loud if your wondering))
What's causing this? And what do I need to eliminate the problem? Should I look into a PCV? Intake? Better fueling module?

I'm leaning towards clutching to grab the belt earlier/harder as the new pipe is allowing the motor to spin up faster and the primary isn't keeping up.

Your banging the rev limiter. Going to have to rework your clutch add some weights to your primary is my guess than you might as well get a vendor kit or start reading the thread clutching on the cheap.

Go out and run it once to make it stutter. Without turning the engine off push and hold the upper RH button of the gauge (assuming this is where you have your tach) and it will read the max RPM that you hit.

You're hitting the rev limiter. I had that muffler last year. Got rid of it because it was too loud for where I usually ride. The sheriff deputies are out every weekend.

What did you replace it with? You had the same issue? I'm probably going to run it this season, then go with the Excell pipe/header

one of the best cans in the bis...... but you picked up about 5-800RPM's and are hitting the limiter. need to work the clutching.... check out the clutching on the cheap mod thread and get yourself setup, no regrets with that can and clutch setup

I switched to the Bikeman Full Velocity muffler and purchased a clutch kit. It is louder that stock but not as loud as the OSP.
