If this is the wrong spot for this thread please move. Just wanted to say a quick hello. I have been lurking here for a week or so and have already gained some wicked knowledge from some very informative folks on this board. Thanks!! So my very first introduction to 4 strokes was you guessed it on a set of 2005 Yamaha Vectors. Absolutely loved the sleds and the wicked gas mileage at that time was unheard of. I took a hiatus from sledding for about 10 years due to many reasons but its awesome to back. So my first sled I got was a 2016 Ski Doo Renegade with the 900 Ace, for no other reason than it was available at my local dealer for a super deal and O% financing and the fact that it was a 4 stroke! I can't really say anything bad about the sled I just could never get really get used to the throttle response. For me it was either to finicky or too flat just couldn't find my happy spot with it. I tried for two years to like it but it just wasn't going to happen. I picked up my Yammi this month and can't wait to hit the trails. I have made a few changes so far that include changing out the stock windshield to a stock one off a S-TX DX which I will make a separate post about. I bought a conversion kit from Up North Technologies so I could use my Ski-Doo accessories with my Yammi. Last but certainly not least I installed the soft start spring from Barn of Parts. I think I may have whip lash from the stock spring :0) Keeping my fingers crossed for a decent winter to be able to ride!!
