New Snow Flap

You don't have to cut it..Look at the link in my post above..There is a picture in that post of what I did the VMax..I did the same to the Attak.
You can use just one strap. I used 2 because I have a hitch for them. And one in the middle will be in the way of course..
The Attak straps came out better..They look different but guess what..No catching at all..no matter how or were I back up.

I ground up the original flap and a new '07 flap on my '06 Attak backing off the trailer....that seems to be the only time it's a problem.

Cutting the bottom off the flap works, but causes a ton of snow to get thrown out the back. So unless you don't have people riding behind you, the best solution is to bolt on a piece of nylon strapping to flap around the bumper to secure the flap. I did it on mine finally, and it's very cheap to do and looks nice.

What did you do just drill a hole in the flap and rivet the nylon to it? Any pics?
I think I'm going to cut mine and do the nylon strap so if it does get caught it isn't damaging the metal support, it'll just pull on the bumper a little.

Apex GT Snow Flap

I experienced a smilar problem with my 2006 Apex.
The light aluminum that the snow flap is attached to eventually tore off.
I lost the flap and metal 3 weeks ago. Found it last weekend after the trail groomer shredded the remaining metal more. Old flap can be salvaged. Need to mount it onto something.
Does the 2007 have a new bracket design to mount the flap to?
Do you know the part number from the 07 redesign?
