Going to need a new track hopefully it can wait until next year.Questions is.What are the choices I like the Rip-saw on my Warrior but is there something better and more durable out there.I have 5,800 miles on my sled and it is in pretty rough shape.I will buy at least an 1.25 .Give me your thoughts .Thanks Mike

Camoplast 9834. WAY better track. Much more durable, and better traction.

If the 9834 is the 6 pitch I agree. I had one on my 03 fully clipped. Better acceleration in snow than a Ripsaw and very good top end. 132 speedo on ice(short track)

It is.
i put a ice ripper on the vector this year, not alot of miles on it, but really love the track.... gives u that extra traction without the cost of studs, and u can still slide it around if u want..... seems to hook up alot better than a standard ripsaw in the deep as well.....

Do you run studs, if so you may want to look at the new 9010h 6 pitch hacksaw from camo,i just got that one for my attak, but like i said if you stud its a better choice,if not than 1.25 track of choice may be better, but i like to slid my rear end thru the corners when ever i can and running the bigger lug track w/studs makes that very difficult.Silver said:Going to need a new track hopefully it can wait until next year.Questions is.What are the choices I like the Rip-saw on my Warrior but is there something better and more durable out there.I have 5,800 miles on my sled and it is in pretty rough shape.I will buy at least an 1.25 .Give me your thoughts .Thanks Mike

I thought 9833 was the track to run? So what is the name of the 9834? Is it the predator track? Reason I ask is Royal Distributing doesn't list them by part number but by name. Thanks.

9834 is the same as 9833 except its 15" longer.
Oh, and "Predator" doesn't mean anything. 9855 is predator also, and its the POS that 03's came with.

Look carefully at the RD part numbers and you can see part of the camoplast #'s... 04-6799819 --> see the last 4 digits? 9819 - camoplast part number 690-9819, which is the 1/3 clipped version of the 9834.
Look into the Kimpex shotgun 1.25. Its is premolded for 96 picks, every window is open for snow to the slides. It is clipped every other window and is available in the mid $ 300 range. I have mine with over 800 miles on it and it hooks up better than the rip saw. It handles great on the tight twisties and there isn't a mark on it. My ripsaw was starting to chunk and show wear with less than 500 miles on it.

Thanks LB I think it will be a 9833 for me. I don't see the reasoning behing every third window closed. For now I will keep cutting the pieces off the ripped saw as it continues to peel. I guess that what happen's when you got that much power.

I have 30+ years experience tearing these things up. I love my ice ripper. !500 miles and it is the best one I have run.
