Has anyone tried the new 2012 Yamaha dual runner tunable skis on their Vector yet? Considering a pair for my 2010 Vector GT--any comments?

Imo, they might work even better on the Vector than they do the Apex, and in the limited reviews I have read about them on the Apex, they sound like a pretty good ski.

Had my dealer do my annual oil change today and asked them about the skis. They made me an offer I can't refuse--they are going to order a pair, let me try them and if I like them, they will take my originals in trade. Now that's a good dealer! Now snow this year, but I'm going to take the dealer up on the offer next Fall.

do those use the same carbides as the regular skis?? i know im gonna get new skis for my nytro just not sure which ones yet. it would be nice if the tuner skis used the same runners as the regular skis that way you would have alot more choices for carbides.
